Challenge Yourself!

Each year, GlobalTribe hosts an international competition for youth around the world to campaign and fundraise for humanitarian and environmental causes and bring about concrete change on a global scale.

The Challenge will typically run a whole academic year (September through May). For the current pilot phase, the Challenge will begin January 10 and run for six months.

Why Should I Join?

The GlobalTribe Challenge is the first program of its kind to offer youth an easy way to bring about global change and to do so in collaboration with other like-minded teens around the world. By joining GlobalTribe, you can:

  GlobalTribe is designed to satisfy school requirements for service learning. You should check with your teacher or principal to see if GlobalTribe meets the guidelines at your school.
  
  

Ten Steps to Success
	Find a Sponsor to Set Up Your Chapter Ask a teacher or adult mentor (18+) to serve as your sponsor and set up your chapter on this website. But come up with a chapter name first. Enrollment Form
	Register Yourself. Your Friends Should Too. Use the Enrolment Form to register and then join the chapter set up by your sponsor. You may also register before your chapter is set up.
	Recruit More Members Grow your chapter by recruiting your peers. You may want to recruit the most artistic people at your school, church or community group to help you create posters, flyers, presentations, videos, songs, and photo essays for your campaign.
	Adopt a Campaign Learn about all three campaigns and decide as a group which one you want to adopt. Download all the campaign materials and create your own.
	Develop Fundraising Strategy Form a fundraising committee and come up with your strategy to raise money. Submit your ideas to us (using the Fundraising Strategy form) for a chance to win US$500 in seed money.
	Create Awareness & Fundraise Spread the word. Get your school, church and community talking about the issue and cause you’ve adopted. Raise money for your campaign and submit the funds through the Donate section.
	Enter More Contests Get your most artistic members to create multimedia projects that will help you generate awareness and fundraise. Enter those projects in our Creative Contests to earn points and win prizes.
	Earn Points & Redeem for Prizes When you register, enter contests, and submit donations through this website, you collect GlobalTribe points which are redeemable for prizes and qualify you for awards. Learn all the ways you can earn points.
	Repeat Steps 6-8
